PRIMARY AREAS OF PRACTICE

Ben concentrates his practice on employment law, civil rights litigation, and general litigation. He assists in the representation of employers and public entities in matters involving discrimination, retaliation, and related workplace claims in both state and federal court. His work spans all phases of litigation, including factual investigation, legal research and analysis, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, dispositive motions, and trial.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

After receiving his law degree, Ben served as a law clerk to the Honorable Julie M. Marino, P.J.S.C. (Ret.), in Somerset County.

Prior to joining Gebhardt & Kiefer, Ben gained valuable experience in civil rights work with the New Jersey Office of the Attorney General, Division on Civil Rights. In that role, he led civil rights investigations and assisted in the resolution of discrimination matters, developing a strong foundation in civil rights law and enforcement.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Ben earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Widener University in 2019. He received his Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School in 2022, graduating cum laude.

Ben is admitted to practice in New Jersey and before the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
