PRIMARY AREAS OF PRACTICE

Kimberly Forino focuses her practice on business and transactional law, insurance defense, municipal law, land use, employment law, and general litigation.

REPRESENTATIVE EXPERIENCE

Kimberly has been practicing law for approximately fifteen years.  Her prior experience includes running a solo practice focused on small business legal services, including advising numerous health service providers and other businesses on employment, regulatory, and contractual matters.  She also served as General Counsel and Director of Corporate Compliance for a NJ health services organization and actively led the business’s expansion to multiple locations and service lines.  As an associate attorney for a NJ law firm, Kimberly successfully litigated and settled premises liability cases on behalf of a Fortune 100 retailer.  She has successfully briefed and argued matters in the NJ Superior Court and Appellate Division, along with the U.S. District Court for the District of NJ.  

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND

Kimberly received her J.D. from Seton Hall University School of Law, and her B.A. degree from Hofstra University.  At Hofstra, she studied Philosophy and Business Law.  During law school, Kimberly interned for a United States Magistrate Judge.  She also worked as a law clerk for a renowned Criminal Defense attorney and professor, and in the Commercial Real Estate Department of an international law firm.  After receiving her law degree, Kimberly served as law clerk to the Honorable Roger W. Daley, J.S.C. (Ret.) in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Division.  She is admitted to the New Jersey State Bar and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Kimberly has completed Civil Mediation Training through the New Jersey Institute of Continuing Legal Education. 

PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY AFFILIATIONS

Kimberly is a member of the Hunterdon County Bar Association.  She is a former member of the Somerset County Business Partnership and the Bridgewater Township Planning Board. As a Planning Board Member, Kimberly served as the Planning Board Liaison to the Bridgewater Township Environmental Commission.  Kimberly is a member of the Clinton Township Organic Community Garden and continues to volunteer her time in the Hunterdon County community.
